I've always been fascinated by one question: What allows life to flourish?

That question led me first into science. I earned my Ph.D. in Botany from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where my research explored the molecular basis for the intricate relationships between people, plants, and the landscapes they share. Throughout my career, I've served as a researcher, university educator, mentor, and scientific communicator, with more than fifteen years of teaching, research, and outreach at institutions including the University of South Carolina, the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Emory University, and the University of Texas at Austin.

Yet the deeper I explored the living world, the more I recognized that many of humanity's most meaningful questions extend beyond what science alone is designed to answer. Rather than seeing science and spirituality as opposing perspectives, I came to understand them as complementary ways of exploring reality.

This realization inspired me to study the ancient Hermetic Lineage of King Salomon through the Modern Mystery School, where I became certified as a Guide, Healer, Life Activation Practitioner, and Ritual Master. These teachings provided practical tools for cultivating self-mastery, clarity, resilience, and conscious stewardship—principles that deeply resonate with both my scientific understanding of living systems and my personal experience.

Today, my work brings these worlds together.

Whether through education, healing, regenerative landscape design, sacred geometry, or transformational experiences, my mission is to empower others with practical tools for personal transformation and conscious stewardship. I believe that when individuals cultivate greater wisdom, health, and purpose, the effects naturally ripple outward into families, communities, society, and the world.
